"METAMORPHOSIS" Uli's approach to the guitar and this piece of music is a perfect fit. I will say right now that it is not only astounding that Uli has achieved the result that he has in his interpretation of Vivaldi, but he has equally astounded with his own original concerto that carries the listener into uncharted territory that is even more delightful and inspiring than the former.

(The text above is taken from a review I've recieved from Chuck Kirby who has got a precopy of the album and was kind to send me his review of it.) Read his whole review here.

"Legends of Rock" Recorded live at Castle Donnington 2001.
Uli invited some of the worlds most famous Rock Legends for an event.
The Legends on this album are: Jack Bruce, Michael Schenker with UFO, Don Array.
There are many exciting moments on the album, especially when Uli and Michael gets synchronized in some solos.

"TSG" - Transcendental Sky Guitar, the long awaiting album from Uli was finally released last year (2000). The album is a double-CD and a mixture of live and studio tracks - Uli Jon Roth goes side by side with the classical masters as well as Hendrix in this album.
In the tradition of all of Uli's creations, this CD shatter all preconceptions of what is possible in the world of guitar playing. The music and compositional vision are unequalled in our time. Uli has evoked colors and emotions like a Classical master and used his soulful virtuosity to create a truely transcendental masterpiece that will be revisited for years to come.

Sky of Avalon is Uli's enduring project that now has carried into the new Millenium. At the moment, Uli is working on an album called "Soldiers of Grace" (Requiem To An Angel) which is dedicated to the memory of his girlfriend of 20 years, Monika Dannemann, who died tragically in 1996. The album is supposed to be a double-CD.

Aquila Suite

The "Aquila Suite" - concerto arpeggio studies for solo piano
The "Aquila Suite" showcases Uli's depth in the Classical & Romantic era in these 12 brilliant Etudes which envoke the compositional prowess of Chopin, Mozart, Liszt and Rachmaninoff. This stunning works are composed by Uli and would need a super virtuoso to perform them, but since Uli are more interested in the aspects of composition he uses a Kurzwell digital piano for the optimal performance.
This 12 songs are not released on any soloalbum but on the compilation-cd "From here to eternity"

From Here To Eternity (Earthquake, Fire Wind, The Prologue and the whole Aquila Suite in one 3-cd package)
This one is worth buying for the "Aquila Suite". Even if you're not into piano, listen to it a few times. It took me a while to get used too it, but now I just love all of it.

The artwork for this CD has not been supervised by Uli and is very poor. It is a low budget release. The music is fine, but Uli thinks the presentation of the inside is terrible. Uli did the cover artwork, however.
